About the McGrath Foundation

The McGrath Foundation was co-founded by Jane and Glenn McGrath after Jane’s initial recovery from breast cancer. It was Jane’s personal experience that led her to believe that the McGrath Foundation should raise money to place McGrath Breast Care Nurses in communities right across Australia, as well as increase breast awareness in young Australian women.

Today, the McGrath Foundation is working to ensure every Australian woman diagnosed with breast cancer, and her family, has access to the support of a breast care nurse. There are currently 55 McGrath Breast Care Nurses supporting women diagnosed with breast cancer and their families in communities throughout Australia, helping to coordinate care and ensure their physical, psychological and basic support needs are met, regardless of their financial situation.
